There's no rhyme or reason. Everything is random chaos. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself at this point.kwabedi wrote:you submitted 2/1 and got your WL before me and I submitted 12/26 and went complete 1/4.... still crickets...capricasixx wrote:WL today by email. 2.5 GPA/167 LSAT, 4 years in digital advertising probably my strongest soft.
Why are they doing this to me?????

Also, I stumbled across someone on LSN with a 162/2.88 that was admitted recently. You might be a YP!

My app went into review 10 weeks ago and LLS still has not gotten back to me - so i feel your pain!!!!! I am really hoping to hear back soon. It's pretty scary to see they are already waitlisting a bunch of people. I'm confused as to why the decision is taking so much longer than it seems to take for most others. I called the ad office and couldn't get any info out of them. I'm trying to stay positive, but with all those WL spots being handed out already, I'm a little on edge.kwabedi wrote:you submitted 2/1 and got your WL before me and I submitted 12/26 and went complete 1/4.... still crickets...capricasixx wrote:WL today by email. Where are you from? That seems conservative to me given that rent is going to run you at least $18k and you really do need a car in LA, so another $6k for that, plus you need to eat/buy shampoo...yenisey wrote:Living expenses of more than $30,000? Startling

Thoughts on the upcoming 2017 USNR rankings coming out next week? Specifically regarding UC Hastings, Loyola & Pepperdine (if anyone has read up on the changes).

Are we even guaranteed a decision before the April 15th deadline? I went complete in late December and still have not heard a peep. I called in late February and the admissions counselor said "Your application is complete and you will have your decision 6-8 weeks after applying." It has now been 10 weeks and the deposit deadline is approaching quickly...
this is getting ridiculous...

What's Loyola's exact tuition amount? Not including COL? Is it basically 50K/year?
Also, is it true that Loyola does that section stacking? I only know 1 Loyola graduate who didn't think so... (every section thought they were in the hardest section).
Thanks!

It seems like this current school was right around 50k/yr. I haven't heard of any freezes so it might be a grand or two more for the upcoming year.
I talked to a few current students and they didn't think so about the section stacking.

For what it's worth, my application "updated" today to cease displaying the usual info pertaining to how long applications take to be reviewed etc.
It previously had about a paragraph of writing relating to how my application is complete and will eventually display decision rendered.
Who knows if that bodes well for me or not! Good luck everyone

Just checked mine and all of that info is gone too. Idk if that is a very good sign. But at least it is movement.Calihawk wrote:For what it's worth, my application "updated" today to cease displaying the usual info pertaining to how long applications take to be reviewed etc.

Although Pepperdine gave me an "unsolicited" scholly bump of 5k/yr. Hoping Loyola will do the same as well.
