In today with a pretty good scholarship offer, but was also wondering about the process for the chancellors scholarship I was hoping to be in the running and got no indication of it in the email so I am wondering if that puts me out or if they notify people about that later?

My guess would be that since you were given an offer, you are not in the running, but that is an assumption grounded in no knowledge of the program.cdotson2 wrote:In today with a pretty good scholarship offer, but was also wondering about the process for the chancellors scholarship I was hoping to be in the running and got no indication of it in the email so I am wondering if that puts me out or if they notify people about that later?

They are notifying later, you're still in the runningcdotson2 wrote:In today with a pretty good scholarship offer, but was also wondering about the process for the chancellors scholarship I was hoping to be in the running and got no indication of it in the email so I am wondering if that puts me out or if they notify people about that later?

25th LSAT up 3, 75th up 1, GPAs up .01 at median and .03 at 75th, while down .02 at 25th. Medians pretty steady so probably won't influence the rankings a ton, but the 25th LSAT gain is very substantial compared to other schools.
Compare if you're interested at the spreadsheet here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=252395 (thanks to all who put this resource together)
Also bar passage rates (from 2014 tests) got back up to 88%ish after an off year, while the state average showed a slight decline.

Figured I'd shoot myself in the foot for not seeing what kind of offer I can get. Submitted before the Chancellor's date. Hopefully a decision comes back quickly now that the New Year has begun.

Probably. It at least means they don't hate your application.pirate101 wrote:Got an email today letting me know my app is on hold. Better than waitlisted?

Yeah, you can solicit one. Just send them an email with your LSAC Account Number, LSAT & GPA and you should be all set. I solicited one that way before I got an unsolicited one via email.FU2016 wrote:Any news on fee waivers for this cycle? Anyone have success soliciting them?

In today!!! NC resident. No mention of scholarship...above both 75ths, so I'm a bit disappointed. Have chancellors people already been notified?

Make sure to check your spam folder!! They sent an email today that many people who got scholarships were unaware because they had inexplicably gone to the spam folder.msmizz85 wrote:In today!!! Also interested if anyone hears movement on Chancellors

I received the welcome packet in the mail today. It included a "UNC School of Law" car sticker except it's missing an "f" (reads "UNC School o Law"). What a complete horseshittery, I DO NOT FEEL WELCOME AT ALL NOW.

It's probably just a misprint. Mine has all of the appropriate letters.CPAlawHopefu wrote:I received the welcome packet in the mail today. does anyone know if UNC provides any travel/hotel reimbursements for out of state visitors?
