Do you think it was a bad move for me to explain in mine why I chose not to apply to the PI program while at the same time expressing interest in it?

probably not. they probably know that most people going into regular jd programs have no clue what kind of law they want to practice

Checking in...retook the LSAT for my 3rd try on Saturday. Previous scores high 150's last year, took some time off, and looking for upper 160's this time. Strong GPA above 3.8, looking for a good score come the end of this month to get me in with some $$$ hopefully!
