Also my numbers 160 and 2.99. I transferred into UF for ug and graduated with an upper division 3.61 so I hope that helps a little bit.
Stafford, amirite?

Checking in. Submitted my app last week and already in comparative review, although I'm kind of confused because I thought anyone with 165+ usually skipped comparative review and my stats are well above LSAT and GPA 75% for UF...

Last year some got skipped and some didn't. Most of the 165+ folks DID get in the first wave of admits however. I'd be really surprised if the YP anyone at this point. I think you're going to see UF is going to do just about anything they can to get those numbers up.

Anyone know what the usual cutoff date is before they send out the first wave of decisions?

Just received an email admitting me into the school. However, Google is showing it as a possible spear phishing attempt. Checked ASO, I'm in. With scholly money. $52k.

Last year they essentially left people hanging on the decision reached status update bullskeet. This year they are sending actual acceptance emails along with scholarship offers, mine includes both in the email.

Your acceptance, and scholly offer (!!!), confirm our suspicions that the new dean is cleaning up and expediting the admissions process. I keep religiously checking my email every few minutes in hopes of hearing back today!
Seriously though, go have a tall one in celebration!

How exciting! CONGRATS!!
I am above the 75th GPA but have a 154 LSAT, so I'm assuming they will continue the trend of sending decisions based on strength instead of order received. And I very well could be denied. However, hearing your acceptance will have me excited about the possibility!

The ole' presidente, eh? Congrats!! I got that too, it comes out to $52k for the whole shooting match, which is more than they were giving out last year. I'm pretty stoked on that, I'm going to try to negotiate as well, but I'll definitely accept it if they say no. lol

No that's total, only $5,750 per year. Probably because of my GPA only being a 3.0. But, that was above median for the school I went to.

Good luck with that, maybe an addendum could help that out?

So, for those of you who have yet to apply or have applied and are wondering how exactly this process has gone, here it is for me:
Sept. 1 - application
Sept 2 - ASO notice
Sept. 10 - Initial review
Sept 11 - Comparative Review
Oct 6 - Decision reached - The status changed in ASO around the same time I got an email. I noticed the email first
Oct 7 - Phone call from Admissions. They also indicated that there would be a snail mail package and a followup email with instructions on how to accept/reject their offer of admissions.
FYI, Google has flagged the admissions email as a 'possible phishing attack' so check your spam folders if your status has changed. From looking at last years thread some things have changed, but I expect the next wave of admissions will be the beginning of November.

Anyone know how often the waves come? Weekly? Monthly? No pattern?

At this point it's hard to judge, because they are doing some things differently than they did last year. But if you use last year as a gauge the next wave will happen the first week of November.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
