No, but I'm the second round of held people (2/27 decision deadline).
I just now got put on preferred waitlist. I was part of the second round (2/27).

I had an alumni interview in the middle of January. I just received an email saying I was held. Does anyone know what that means? Whats the point of holding my app, if I'm going to hear back by the end of February anyway?

I dont want to take away from what you are trying to get information about but when you say you just received the email does that mean it was just sent or you just checked your email? I am just curious if there is still some info coming out of the east coast today.

I assume they're just letting you know you won't be getting a decision until then? I was held a while ago but I took it as they want to get a better idea of the pool of applicants and then will review our apps again.

I still haven't heard back after being deferred from ED and sent the email about the Jan. 30th decision.. Did this happen to anyone else?
