Checking in.

Got an acceptance email Friday 11/21
Went complete 11/3

Pretty surprised about the fast decision since I'm below the median LSAT. I am in-state, though

Would admits mind PMing me their numbers? I have been under review since before November, and with a 169/3.44 I'm kind of wondering why I haven't heard back. Although I am out of state I am very into Colorado.

with that high of LSAT you'e basically a guaranteed entry. Your 6 points over the 75th percentile at CU.

It's more complicated than that. Not only does CU yield protect, but they really do a full file review. Also, poster is below median GPA.

His or her LSAT is good for CU, but it won't help their class stats anymore than a 164. USNEWS uses medians, not averages.

I recommend chilling. It's November. Then write a letter of continued interest and state explicitly that you want to live in Colorado. Then call and be polite and inquire whether they received your letter.

Waitlisted on 11/21. Most likely going to be withdrawing since I got accepted into one of my top choices though.

About a million questions. I'm about to go to sleep but I'll blow you up with questions in a few hours on PM if you don't mind.

Yes.

What is your best Trike Night time/finish?
When you ride your bike, do you slowly roll through stop signs or ignore them entirely?
Which dog park is the best for picking up MILFs?
Do you actually need a passport to visit Denver?
It is lunch time at the law school. You have an hour for lunch. You are tired of everything in Basemar and did not bring a lunch. Where do you go? Assume whatever mode of transportation is feasible for a law student. (this is a pufer call out)

1. Trike time I made it from pearl street to Chautauqua in under 15 minutes
2. I prefer the ignore method, but its okay because my bike is decked out with flashing lights
3. Not sure on that one, perhaps Scott Carpenter?
4. Yes, ever since the marijuana legislation
5. I prepare my home cooked tempeh and kale

I'm from Denver, so I'm familiar with Boulder and Colorado in general, but would you say most students live near campus or do they commute from Denver?

For the LS, it's probably like 2/3 live in Boulder/Longmont/Superior; 1/3 live further out. Maybe even higher during 1L. People who lived in Denver pre-LS likely stayed living in Denver. Everyone else moved to Boulder. People disperse a lot more after 1L.

Has anyone heard about scholarships yet? I got my acceptance from DU with a half scholarship and am curious what, and when, I may get from CU.

I'm curious, too. In the 2017 thread, it looks like some scholarships were released in November and people were talking about $$ around this time. Hopefully we'll hear something this week?
