Will you be working in mpls after graduating? Midlaw? Biglaw?
Asking publicly since I'm thinking others would like to know too.

I have a fed clerkship in the midwest. I can answer in greater detail via pm, though I will say I got exactly the job I wanted. I had to gun hard for it though. Most people in my class don't have jobs yet, or any real leads for that matter. The market is still very tough.

This is why minnesota makes me nervous

I'm in!
Got the voicemail during the middle of PT 68
So thrilled I missed the second question in the second LR section. I scored a 170 though. My second highest score!
I feel extremely fortunate. My numbers are very much below the medians at the moment. They definitely took a chance on me. I will be retaking the LSAT in December and hopefully I'll be able to receive some scholarship money with my new score.
thank you UMN!!!!!!

+1 My status check page says financial aid information sent 11/26, but I have not received anything related to $$$, just one brief admission decision email.

How long did it take for your status check to change? I got the acceptance phone call this afternoon, but my status check still says "In Review"

For those of you curious about $$$, I was informed by the dean of admissions that it would be included in the admittance packet and would come in the mail in about a week.
That said, I live literally across the street from the law schools so I'm expecting a lot less time to pass...

File Complete 10/6, Waitlisted 11/26.
Numbers are slightly (1-2 points) below median for LSAT and below 25th percentile for GPA so I also share the "unfortunate, but not unexpected" mentality. As an MN native, the U, especially with a little bit of money, would be impossible to pass up.
Congrats to all those accepted! Minneapolis/St. Paul is a phenomenal area, and I hope I can find a way to join you there!

I'm curious too. I got the phone call, but my status checker is still under review and no email.

I got the call last Wednesday, and my status checker just updated to "Admitted - Congratulations" this morning.
