Just received a wait list notification from Fordham. Feeling both surprised and a little sick. Above both medians, diversity/alternative background/killer story and PS (according to a former member of the Berkeley Admissions team) ...

In last Tuesday submitted 10/20 complete 10/24....3.19 GPA and a 166

A bit concerned about the regional limitations of the school, though. Does it have portability elsewhere? I don't plan on practicing in NYC or even in the northeast.

From what I know, not really. Fordham is a decent feeder school for NYC biglaw (if you're top 10-20%), and maybe you could take it to Boston, but I doubt you'd get far with it in Cali or the Midwest.

Most likely heading to the far southeast (Miami), so it will be a tough call. No T14 options in all likelihood, but a few good top 30 schools. Will also depend on $.

Status date updated to 12/16. New status: "Your Application is Complete"

after being "Your Application has been Received" for about 2 weeks....

I'm confused, are they now closed for the holidays or is the admissions team still working Monday and Tuesday? From that twitter feed I'm guessing they will have one last round of admits before closing up shop on the 23rd?

I believe it sounds like one more round Monday or Tuesday.

HI all, my application status has said "your application is complete" for a few weeks- is there an under review phase or does it just go from complete to a decision?

My application went complete 12/3 and I'm still waiting for a reply. Applied to the part-time program with a median LSAT and an above 75% GPA. Hoping to hear news soon
