I will not be able to apply until I take the LSAT in December. Does anyone know if acceptance to W&M is effected by late applications?

In general, it's probably better to get your application in as early as you can, but W&M says that they do not do rolling admissions (even though they let some people know early) and that the majority of their decisions go out after the spring application deadline. I wouldn't think your chances would be drastically diminished by applying later. A ton of people apply during the winter anyway.

I applied last year in January (December LSAT) and was accepted a few weeks later. I don't think the December LSAT would hurt you.

Accepted this morning via email. Went complete on the 29th. Anxiously awaiting the mailed packet for info about $$. Excited!

Not at all. GPA 3.7 and LSAT 167. I also called the admissions office later this morning to ask whether they could give me details about scholarship info. Spoke with the Dean of Admissions, who is SUPER nice, and she said the full details will be in my mailed packet but that they're offering 24K/year. I'm happy with the offer but realistically will need to negotiate it up in order to be able to attend-- will work on that later once I know what other schools are offering. Also applied for one of the specific fellowships, but she said decisions won't be made about those until later, so if I get one that could mean more down the line. Really hopeful that they will work with me on that, since W&M is definitely one of my top choices.

I am just curious how long it will normally take to change the status from incomplete to complete? My status still shows incomplete after I get my status checker email today. I guess I am a little bit anxious so I keep refreshing the status page...

They say that they wait to receive all your materials from LSAC before it's considered complete. Mine took a little over a week, and they sent an email when it was.
