It took me longer to go complete, maybe 6 weeks. I called them after 4 weeks and they said they had a back log. So i wouldn't worry!Tumbleweed08 wrote:I've been incomplete for almost 5 weeks... at what point should I be worried?

has anyone had any luck in negotiating their way out of the "top-half of the class" stipulation? received a generous offer that is appealing, minus that damn fine print.

My offer did not have that stip. But try negotiating anyways, you really have nothing to lose. This article is helpful, even if you are trying to get rid of the top 1/2 stip rather than looking for more $$. http://lawschoolexpert.com/top-3-tips-f ... holarship/ Best of luck!dustybottoms7 wrote:has anyone had any luck in negotiating their way out of the "top-half of the class" stipulation? received a generous offer that is appealing, minus that damn fine print.

Has anyone else not been able to access the status checker recently? Submitted my app 1/27 and has yet to change from incomplete so I've been checking obsessively until yesterday when it wouldn't work!

Same! I think the link to the status checker changed... from their website you can click Admissions & Aid (top bar), JD, First Year Application Process (side bar) and there's a Review and Status Check Link below. From there you should get an accurate link to the status checker.aaslaw2015 wrote:Has anyone else not been able to access the status checker recently? Let me know if your status has changed! I submitted around the same time and mine is still incomplete, too...

Yea I've been incomplete since 2/1 so I guess it's just their thing. No worries, just part of the processlizzielemon wrote:It took me longer to go complete, maybe 6 weeks. Accepted today via email after going complete over the weekend! Super excited!!
For those of you who are also in - did you receive info regarding $$$ in the initial or a later email, or was it in the physical acceptance packet to come?

In via email today as well with scholly offer. Not too happy with offer so will try to negotiate, but most likely going to withdraw with better offers available.

In review as of 3/6/15, in email they said decision could take up to 8 weeks. By far the slowest school!

Finally gave in and called yesterday. Checked the status checker again this morning and I'm finally "complete"... Looks like calling is the solution! Hopefully a decision is just around the corner.Tumbleweed08 wrote:I've been incomplete for almost 5 weeks... at what point should I be worried?

Anybody have success negotiating $? I tried and got shot down, but was curious to see if anyone else has been successful! I was offered the same amount from schools ranked higher, and would consider Pepperdine with the right amount of $.
