Anyone heard anything back? I know last year the first wave was right around this time.

All has been quiet. I haven't spotted anything on LSN either. I've heard SMU is SLOOOOOOW. One of my coworkers graduated from SMU law in 2012 and pretty much told me not to hold my breath for anything before December. Hopefully he's wrong.

Turns out that unfortunately Kalvano couldn't be more correct.

From the SMU website it looks like the adcomms have been at various events throughout the country this month, the last of which is tomorrow at UGA. Hopefully later this week when the schedule gets a little lighter they'll be able to sit down and start reviewing applications.

I've visited already and had a really good experience as well. If they can make it affordable I think it would be a great place to go.

Ohh, we're in the same ballpark! Same GPA, though your LSAT is 4 points higher than mine.

Doesn't look like there's been any movement on my application as of yet.

*starts the obsessive refreshing of the status checker*

Did SMU's status checker let you know when it went into review or just straight to the decision? I applied in the middle of October and haven't heard.

There was no indication that the application was "in review" just went straight from Application Completed to Admitted

I believe the status checker goes straight from app completed to the decision. Congrats on the admittance!

Not at all! 164/3.55. I didn't check yesterday so I don't know if anything changed then, but it has the decision date as today.
