This is indeed the case. LSAC will perform an extra rounding step. They multiply the GPA coefficient by number of credits per SEMESTER, then divide (rounded to two digits), and then they weigh that semester up against other semesters. This is opposed to multiplying the GPA coefficient by number of TOTAL credits and then dividing, which is what the "predictor" does.

Unlikely you'll ever see more than a 0.01 change either way.

NOTE: I'm always amused at the label "predictor"-- it's pretty simple arithmetic, not a magic-8 ball ;)

Realized I'd just been creeping and am now checking in!

Also, like everyone else here, would go bananas to get PT.

Last cycle, PT invites started going out on August 21. Theoretically, some of us could have decisions in less than a month

I just made a visit to Duke. If you go to the admissions office and tell them that you want to do a self-guided tour, they have you write your name, LSAC account #, and date of visit on a card for them. Of the 4 schools I've toured, Duke is the only one that actually keeps a record of your visit even if it was only a self-guided tour.

Yup, UChi has a guestbook you can sign (if that means anything...?).

Just started my Duke app! Bored at work and can't study for the LSAT until I get off. Strangely starting these apps gives me a ton of motivation to study for the LSAT. Anyone submitting soon?

 their app opened earlier than they said on their website! I wonder when PT invites will start going out....

Yeah that's what I thought. Then I was just skimming through the "My schools" section on my LSAC profile and it said it opened up. I am sure you will get a PT invite. You can always email and ask. That's what I plan on doing as soon as my LSAT score comes back (granted I get the score I need).

I think its just open to work on, not submit. Either way I'm happy because I have to go dig up my high school transcripts.

Yes you are. Just kidding, I am just mad that you dominated the LSAT already. But my GPA is >75% so that makes me optimistic. No you don't need your transcript. You just need the Name and address of the school, and your start date.
