Love it!! We need to do this for every thread.

I should add my own cell phone pics, now that I think about it...

Hi there,

I just finished a draft of my optional Georgetown essay. I wrote on the "one phone call" prompt. It's only 200 words.

If anyone is interested just PM me.

Thanks.

Could be old, I'm hoping it's the current prompt.

It is listed as one of the Fall 2014 topics and based on past threads, the topics do change... although, not sure if all the topics change each year or if some stay the same. I would probably hold off on writing more or editing until this year's topics come out?

I pulled it off the website, but I guess they haven't updated it yet. That's frustrating.

Are you sure that's going to be one of the prompts this year? I thought they changed every cycle?

Hey guys! I was admitted for the class of 2017 and saw this post - "one phone call" was definitely in the 2017 application. If I can answer any questions or anything for any of you let me know!

Lol I've been checking their website every day, hoping they will have updated SOMETHING.

Trust me, I'll let you guys know. And I will add the 250 topics to the OP once they are changed.

Hi future Georgetown family! I applied this past cycle (the day applications opened last fall), interviewed with an alumna in November, was held for further review in December, was waitlisted ("preferred waiting list") in late February, and was finally accepted in June (...and then they even granted my one-year deferral request, thus making my life complete).

I never thought the roller coaster ride would last so long, and I more than once began losing the faith (especially about whether a deferral would be possible were I even to get IN off of the waiting list). So if anyone needs a pick-me-up / words of encouragement or advice on the cycle, I am happy to message you.

I am so happy and proud to be a member of the class of 2018. Meeting you all will be a privilege.

Do we know yet whether the optional essay topics are going to change this year?

It still says fall 2014 on the optional responses page. I think they will be different, but I'm not sure.

Like literally every morning I check law.georgetown.edu to look for updates. I'm desperate AF.
I'm assuming there will be a lot of updating to come since we just finished up orientation week.

I hope so! I read something mentioning that c/o 17 has the highest avg GPA of any GULC class ever.
The powers that be put in a lot of face time this past week to make the new students feel at home. I could see them coming out with info on Tuesday.

Yeah, that was confirmed. Unfortunately they didn't say anything about LSAT so it either was stagnant or dropped.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
