I just want to take this moment to point out that Stanford continues its infuriatingly black-box admissions process by not giving any idea of how large their waitlist is or how many people they tend to take off it in their letter (as opposed to Yale, who includes both pieces of information in their waitlist email).

Judging by TLS, though, Stanford's waitlist seems enormous.
