WOW just found out I got in off the waitlist via email. I don't think I was on priority reserve or whatever (at least I don't remember that being mentioned). Didn't do an interview...actually haven't had heard much from them until now...Low GPA decent LSAT (so kind of splitter?). I just sent in an LOCI yesterday (my 2nd one). Oh my goodness...I wonder if they have any money...

lets go baby. at least one of us got the coveted WL acceptance. good job brother. hope the financial side works out for you

Yes there is financial aid grants for wait list admits! Just send need access and a scholarship application form to financial aid office. They respond really quickly and give decisions roughly in about a day.

Dear Dredd_2017,

I am writing with another update regarding our incoming class and our waitlist, though little has changed since I last wrote. Our class remains full, though not over-enrolled. We have been able to make a small number of additional offers of admission in recent weeks, and will continue to do so if changes in the makeup of our class allow.

Since we are approaching the end of the summer, we will need to move quickly to fill any spots that become available in our fall class. So that we can have an accurate sense of who remains interested in consideration for these spots, please complete this form no later than July 25. Even if you have recently contacted us to express continued interest, you must complete this form for full consideration. I realize that you may have reached a point where you could no longer consider an offer of admission from Duke, and you may indicate on this form that you wish to be removed from the waitlist.

Our orientation program begins on August 19, and classes begin on August 25. We will follow up with all remaining active applicants as soon as possible after that date to confirm that we have concluded our admission process for the year.

Pretty standard stuff, if you can't get access to your email by the 25th PM me and I'll shoot you a link to the survey. The only reason I didn't include it is I'm unsure if the URL encodes who the link was sent to.
