yeah the e-mail says:
HLS wrote:Once we receive this information, your status will change from “wait list offered” to “active on the wait list.”
fwiw, i submitted my WL confirmation pretty quickly & early and my status checker still says "waitlist offered"
i imagine it will take at least a day or two to process

Waitlisted today as well. LSAT below median, GPA 4.xx. Submitted January, No JS1.

Sorry if this has been asked before but do we know how many people are generally on the waitlist?

there's usually 100ish people on LSN who are wait-listed but its hard to tell how many are on the wait list total since lsn is only a fractions of all applicants. Since LSN tends to skew towards higher quality applicants, you could probably make a rough estimate based off that data. I'd say a couple hundred? Which seems like a crazy big wait list.

Can't access the form on my phone. I just assumed it was a mobile problem. Going to try when I have access to a computer.

Waitlisted yesterday
LSAT at median
Foreign transcript
K-JD

Am I right that it is impossible to defer an acceptance offer off the waitlist? Is there any chance at all of doing that?

I was wondering this as well. Especially if you have nothing new to update (grades, jobs, ect.)

Is there really any point in sending Harvard a letter telling them how much you want to go there? I mean, I'm sure they know that, they are Harvard after all and I don't wanna annoy the admissions committee with useless extra documents.

But if most wait listers do send in a LOCI, I don't want to be the one person who doesn't, and then gets forgotten.

JWP and BOM got waitlisted? I mean I'm happy for both of you that you're not dinged but... the double-avatars were not one of my favorite parts of the applicant thread.

All aboard the waitlist train!

177 / 3.6ishbutslightlyless

I also have not had a JS1. Submitted mid-September.

So... Fingers crossed that Harvard's median LSAT starts slipping and they freak out and decide to make use of me.

I counted 37 WL acceptances from LSN and the spreadsheet, excluding identical combinations that aren't clearly different people. It seems like a very large majority of the action occurred in late May.
