Re: Ranking the Admissions Packets
I really enjoyed my nice UW-Madison coffee mug (even though I don't drink coffee). I must say that Michigan's was the most odd thus far...an almost-empty plastic folder with one piece of paper inside? On pure info and style alone, gotta go with Vandy as the best too.

No, it's just the letter. That's why we're all mocking it.vuthy wrote:Is there actually a GULC packet? I think all I got was a letter.BmoreOrLess wrote:Robbin Blue wrote:GULC, by far.

Is NYU's really a pizza box? Or was it in a prior year? All I got was a blue (not purple, oddly enough..) envelope.
Someone describe what's in Vandy's great packet, please. I got a package from them last year, but it was just a bunch of brochures and stuff.

It was the same this year. The box typically comes after the envelope.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Is NYU's really a pizza box? Or was it in a prior year? All I got was a blue (not purple, oddly enough..) envelope.

Even if I get something interesting, my mailman folds it all up and shoves it in my mailbox :/

I think the matte black presentation with the V & Oak Leaf on the front is the icing on the cake.gta wrote:Standard envelope with admission letter and ASW/scholarship/seat deposit informationTheMostDangerousLG wrote:Someone describe what's in Vandy's great packet, please. Ok, seriously, that looks almost exactly like the HLS sticker. There must be a law school sticker mill someplace.vuthy wrote:Vanderbilt Sticker.jpg

I thought Notre Dame's packet was very well done. Still waiting for my U of Washington packet...it was supposed to be here already...grr.
I have to disagree with you Nucky, I actually really like Vanderbilt's bumper sticker.....

I will, but I think so far all we have are the NYU and Vandy ones that I was talking about early on.kirbyb wrote:OP- mind updating the first post with images?
Edit: Posted NYU, Vandy, GW. That's all I've got so far--unless you want a pic of the GULC letter or the WUSTL email.

Re: Ranking the Admissions Packets (Now w/ Pics!)
Penn/UVA>HLS>Michigan>U Washington
Penn's is pretty thorough...11 different pamphlets plus the faculty guide they sent with the acceptance letter. UVA's packet isn't as large but I thought it was put together better and is more visually appealing.

No one is going to appreciate my impeccable Seven reference? I don't mean to imply that I'm laughing at my own joke (although I definitely am), but that was the single best thing I will ever contribute to humanity.
