Out of state. Live in Florida. I tried negotiating but they went on about having no scholarship fund bs. They said they might be able to offer me more after the deposit lol.

Yea I'll try again. Just curious, you mentioned that you got into wfu, are you attending wfu? If not, is it because of a better offer from wvu? Even though wfu is higher ranked

No , I am attending West Virginia. The scholarship from wake forest was only 10k a year , so that made it kind of out of reach for my budget. I was also accepted to FSU, GSU, and American. It ultimately came down to Florida State and WVU and I compared them and I still wasn't sure even after the visits, but my offer from Florida State wasn't very substantial and it was only for 2 years. So, the fellowship definitely helped me make the final decision.

Yea I hope it goes well for you, with all that hard work you put in. Not trying to dissuade from switching but you should check out the law school numbers on wvu. In their latest career fair only 3 law firms showed up, and not a single firm from New York, dc or California was there. When I asked wvu about this, they didn't respond lol.

Thank you! Yeah that doesn't make them look so good but some of the firms that did show up have a main location in wv and others in dc chicago etc. Also, I have some pretty good connections in my home state , so I won't be completely relying on their career services.
