Ok, I'll hang my hat here too. 3.3, LSAT > all 75ths except HLS. I'm guessing good softs, especially the one I'm doing now--I think this soft is what is helping with schollys. PM for details.

IN:

UCLA 35k/year
UMich 22.5k/year
Duke
NYU
Georgetown
and a school in Canada, and a couple in the UK...

Pending:

Harvard (doubt it but worth the app fee)
UPenn (If they ever decide to UR2 my application)
Columbia
UVA (interview soon)

What's up all! You guys are scaring me with these high GPAs! I didn't know 3.0+ GPAs with 165+ LSATs were considered splitters. Anywho, my GPA is sub 2.5 and LSATs were high 160s. I was terribly nervous when applying. However, I have now received a few acceptances which has been great! I've only been out of school for 2 years but have been working full time and had legal internships since.

In:
St Johns. with $35k w/ stip
Hofstra with $35k w/ stip
CUNY with interview for graduate fellowship coming up
George Washington
Cardozo - May Start (edit: $15k no stips)
U Conn.

Waitlisted:
Minnesota
Brooklyn

Rejections:
Harvard
Northwestern
Fordham

Waiting to hear from:
William and Mary
Georgetown
Virginia
Cornell
Chicago
BU + BC

In a verrry similar situation (and also surprised by 3.6's saying splitters - I wish I had that going on!) I also have lots of work experience (5+ years) and I think pretty great recommendations

Sent my apps in early January

In: Alabama (with $), SMU (with $), WUSTL and Richmond (waiting on scholarship info)
Pending: William and Mary, UNC, Emory, Wake Forest, Vandy, UVA
Rejected: Univ. Washington

Supersplitter: < 3.0 / 172

non-URM

In:
Wisconsin
Texas $$$
Penn State $$$
Wake Forest
Georgia $$$
George Washington
Ohio State

Pending:
Georgetown

No dings yet

I had a strange application pattern because where I settle is contingent upon where my wife goes to grad school. I think this is a good example that you can get into some pretty good schools with a high enough LSAT score and decent softs, though. I think my Texas residency helped me a lot to get in there, but it'll be someone else who takes that seat.

Edit: I'm married but I'm an undergrad still, so I don't think I count as an unconventional student.

3.1/167

No real good explanation for the less than stellar GPA. I play for my university's basketball team and had a difficult time transitioning to college life while juggling school and sports. My last three years I had about a 3.5, though.

Accepted:
Alabama $$
UK $
U of L $
GW
WUSTL $
Cincinatti $
Washington & Lee $$$
IUB $$
Georgia $$
William and Mary $$

Waitlisted:
Vandy

Does anyone know anything about the splitter friendliness of UK and U of L?
I am from Kentucky so I have a genuine interest in both schools, but was honestly expecting a bit more money. I have considered trying to retake and get more money from UK, but I'm already 7 points above there 75th, will going 10 points above it make a difference to them, or am I screwed there with my GPA?
