No - status checker didn't change prior to the call. Shortly after, however, it changed to show the admittance.

I got the call first, but when I checked afterwards the status changed to Admitted-Congratulations! 12/16

PM for stats if you want, but I am a splitter (below 25th GPA/above 75th lsat). I'm dying to get scholarship information, but he said it could take a week for the packet to get to me. The only timeline posted so looks like an 11/22 admit and 11/29 packet! That's too long, UMN

As long as USNWR only cares about medians, there is no reason to believe that UMN will stop being very splitter friendly. Thats their game.

I wouldn't necessarily say equals, I think it would really depend on the situation. A high LSAT is rarer than a high GPA though.

but

above a 25th & above a median is a good position to be in

a 163/3.8 has a good shot

I applied last week, went complete 12/16. I hope I'm not too late, because I think I'd really like to go here. Does anyone have any opinions on whether someone with 169/3.58 and a specific interest in one of their concentrations/clinics (and 2 years work experience in that field) has a reasonable shot at a decent amount of scholarship money this late in the game?
