Submitted today with a 158 and a 3.54 (3.68 before LSAC re-calculated it, I failed a class in a high school dual enrollment class when I was 17). I e-mailed them an addendum explaining my GPA situation. Any chance I could get a scholarship?

Yep! NJ here. I've been accepted and I would love to attend if they offered me some money. Denver's a great city.CU44BMD wrote:Any East Coast people applying/applied/attending?

I am a Denver area native if anyone has questions! Would be happy to help anyone looking for local info. I'm in the burbs now but lived right outside of downtown a couple years ago.

Does anyone know if Denver offers a travel stipend for ASD?

Was your scholarship included in your email about your acceptance or did it come in the snail mail packet?

I emailed admissions on Jan 7th to ask if they offered a travel stipend or if there was a way to request one. Have not heard back, but will post when I do. It seems odd to me that they have taken so long to respond. When I requested an application fee waiver from them I heard back within a few hours.CU44BMD wrote:Congrats!phaynes1 wrote:Got in today. 21k w/ 3.0 stipulation. Definitely considering it.

Apparently they are in the process of discussing travel stipends. They have never given them before though.

Thanks for the travel stipend updates folks! Stipend or not, I'll deff have to make the trip out to Denver considering the scholarship I recevied.alicelynn wrote:Apparently they are in the process of discussing travel stipends. They have never given them before though.

I also emailed them to ask if they give out travel stipends. I received a prompt response telling me they were in the process of finding out how much money they have to do so. I was told I would be informed immediately once they have determined whether or not they will be able to do so. I haven't received any further updates yet.CU44BMD wrote:Congrats!phaynes1 wrote:Got in today. 21k w/ 3.0 stipulation. Definitely considering it.

Do they have an ASD? I didn't see any info on it in my admissions packet or emails. Or are you guys inquiring about stipends for individual visits?

There was a one page paper about it in my packet. It was in March but I don't remember more than that and I'm at work right now. They said they would be sending more info out about it though so I'm sure you will see something soon.ltrego wrote:Do they have an ASD? I didn't see any info on it in my admissions packet or emails. Alabama applicant here. I've never heard of travel stipends but, damn, what a great idea.

Checking in. Admitted back in December. Love the Denver area and have been impressed with how the law school is getting better and better. This is one of my top choices. Anyone else have DU in their top 3 or 4?
