I wonder if that's a typo and it's suppose to say "mail"? It would be very strange for them to put off sending emails that long after posting that a decision has been made...Good luck regardless.jk148706 wrote:Decision made for me too. I also am confused why it would take ten business days for an email to arrive.14G wrote:Status checker changed to "Decision Made" today! However, it says I must wait up to TEN business days for my decision to arrive via EMAIL. Strange.
Submitted October. Under review early November. PM for stats.

Same here. Submitted 10/28! Now to wait ten days for that slow email.

Update if you receive an email today. I'm still wondering about this whole ten day thing.

also got the decision made update today. And yea, any updates when emails start going out would be appreciated. I really doubt they'd take a full ten days, but I still think that anything after today would be kind of strange.

Geez that's crazy fast, especially given the break! I applied all the way back on Oct 9th and haven't heard a peep other than a status date change on Nov 6th.0913djp wrote:Decision made here as well. Applied November 21 or so. Very fast. Hoping its a decision I want to hear!

Just received the "Decision Made" status today! (12/2). Applied 10/21 RD. Yea, it's strange it says to wait 10 days for an email...but it probably just says that so that they don't get people bugging them immediately when they haven't received the email yet. I bet it comes in soon! Hoping for good news

Did some lurking and the earliest acceptances last year were December 7th and the people who received similar status updates got e-mails by 6pm that day.

I'm pretty sure anyone with the decision made status of today is receiving an acceptance.

I have "decision made" today as well. I lurked through last year's thread, and it seems like the first batch of decisions--which came out December 7th--were all acceptances (I couldn't find otherwise). Hopefully it's the case this year, and people will hear good news soon.jk148706 wrote:Whys that?mx23250 wrote:I'm pretty sure anyone with the decision made status of today is receiving an acceptance.

This is why I suspect you're receiving acceptances. Seems the first batch is typically all admits.LSBound2017 wrote:I have "decision made" today as well. Re: George Washington C/O 2017
I have been accepted before in a previous cycle (no scholarship money) and am reapplying with more softs and works experience. I can only assume admit, but I don't want to count my chickens...
Anyways.. I am still thinking it's good news for all of us! Anyone do the ED full scholarship route? I was definitely tempted, but couldn't commit.
Here's to waiting and hoping for good news!!!

I did ED. I'm not very competitive for T14, may pull one or two, but after meeting with the GWU people and researching it seems like the right fit for me. Plus anywhere I go will require $$$, as I get my tuition paid for if I go to a public uni in my state. It seemed like a no brainer since I more than likely won't get $ from a T14 I get into anyway.pcthenls wrote:I have been accepted before in a previous cycle (no scholarship money) and am reapplying with more softs and works experience.
