When is everyone applying by? I heard before Thanksgiving is a good time, but I'm noticing that (according to the graph on the first page), a lot of admission decisions are made in October-December... and then there's a lull until February.

Depending on when I finish my PS and my LORs are submitted, I'm hoping to apply by the end of September at latest.

My GPA almost definitely precludes me (never thought my LSAT would be good enough to say that) but this is my only realistic chance at a T3 so it is all in for Harvard.

That's crazy. The people at the admissions office were all great, so spivey definitely hit the jackpot with that hire.

I know that they don't only consider the averaged score but don't they add the average score to you others (so for me it will have 4 scores)?

Should I retake the LSAT?
The LSAT need be taken only once. If you take the test more than once, all scores and their average will be reported and considered.

So in this way they are still averaging your score...or I am I reading this wrong?

From what I've heard and seen empirically, it's really all about the highest score. They will look at the others, but I've spoken to people that have had 2 150's and then a 174 and got in (the average would be in low 160's).

Finally, I suspect Karen will be adding to this thread including some of the recent questions above, but not until Sept. 1st as she will be at Harvard Law until then and it would create conflicts of interest.

So long as Mike Spivey isn't just running one of the most in depth long cons in internet history . I guess they will announce it sometime before the 1st.

Anyone else go to the info session in New York last night? I thought JS was super impressive.

Anyone else go to the info session in New York last night? I thought JS was super impressive.

I went to the session hosted at the NYC Bar Association. JS certainly gave me the impression that they value some type of experience after graduation. She mentioned that she places weight on the resume, followed by the personal statement and recommendations. I guess this confirms discussion on TLS about Harvard's attempt to attract/recruit applicants with more post-grad experience.

Also noteworthy was when she stated that the further removed from undergrad, the less weighted the GPA.
