Aiming for NYC so NYU is my second choice after CLS. Hoping that all this LSAT studying will pay off. Good luck everyone!

Status check says "under review." Anyone else?

Does "Application under review" mean it's complete? I checked yes to a C&F question, which I thought meant that my undergrad would have to send a letter (they have not done so yet). Does NYU not require a dean's letter for C&F violations?The-Specs wrote:Got the checker today but definitely doesn't say under review, it says being processed. Mine isn't even complete. Way to get going fast.Vursz wrote:Status check says "under review." Anyone else?

I am under review too. Know how long it will take before a decision is rendered?

I kept a log of all my status changes in my LSN profile. NYU always goes from received to under review.The-Specs wrote:I'm not sure but usually complete comes before under review...that being said mine just jumped to under review as well. I have no idea what is going on.
I only see 2 and the chart says 2010-2012. Checking LSN, it looks like that was in the 2010-2011 cycle. No decisions came out in November last year. They started December 10th.The-Specs wrote:Last year decisions came out in Dec (with 5 in November but that could have been misreported or at least it must have been a special situation).

Don't mind me. I'm just procrastinating during this ConLaw reading.

Anyone have a guess as to when/if any hidden fee waivers will be distributed this year?

Then I suppose I'll keep posting.The-Specs wrote:Your comments and insight are always welcome Lavitz.

They didn't come out until October 3rd last year. I got tired of waiting and applied in September. Don't think it made a difference.DrStudMuffin wrote:Anyone have a guess as to when/if any hidden fee waivers will be distributed this year?

But I think Lavitz is right about December... but really, try not to worry too much about it. I was freaking out all through December because people who had submitted after me were getting in, and finally in the middle of January I got the phone call. It was great, but I could have saved myself a lot of misery by just calming down.

If it is "under review" does that mean it is complete?Lavitz wrote:I kept a log of all my status changes in my LSN profile. I can't really answer that one, but if the question said you needed to have a dean's certificate sent, then just send it. I wouldn't worry about it. Your app will be fine. If you want to make sure they received it since you may not be able to tell from the status checker, contact them and see if they received it a week or so after your undergrad says they sent it.Humbert Humbert wrote:If it is "under review" does that mean it is complete?Lavitz wrote:I kept a log of all my status changes in my LSN profile. Just got a fee waiver. Don't know if they refund for those of you who have already submitted.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
