Re: Acceptances Slower than normal?
I just think there was a bit more movement by this time last cycle, there are less 17xs to consider, so by the middle of Feb, schools will know what they have numbers-wise and it's pretty easy to start taking people off once YHS makes decisions and CCN on down. I just think it'll be a little faster once it gets going since there are less candidates.

Re: Acceptances Slower than normal?
I think with the reduction in apps, the wl will be larger, more people will be taken off WL than previous years. Splitter and reverse splitters will have a better chance at their REACH schools.
So....hang on boys, its going to be a bumpy ride!

Bumping
I know I am not alone in my misery. Who else has more than 5 apps pending out there in decision limbo?

I have 15 plus 1 WL. I submitted at random times throughout January as my solicited fee waivers were approved. Most were around 1/8 though.

I have 5 that are "under review" or more likely sitting around until someone actually looks at them...

Re: Acceptances Slower than normal?
Glad this caught on! We shall overcome y'all! Lol
I'm waiting on 6, not counting my two WLs. I don't want to be a negative nancy, but I really wonder how many of those are rejections they're holding off on sending... Or worse, another WL. I still have hope, given the nature of this cycle, but my patience is wearing thin considering I've had most of these apps in since December.

I have 7 under review, 1 ding.
My UNC application has been "Complete" with no pulse for over a month and a half.
I'm hoping for a flood of emails this week and next.

If you had told me in December that I would have absolutely NO new scholarship offers by mid-March, I'd call you crazy.
Looks like I'm the crazy one.
