Re: Suffolk Law c/o 2016
Just got a "Sargent Scholarship" today. Wasn't even considering Suffolk (and in fact was going to retake the LSAT in June and apply elsewhere for 2014) but now I'm not sure. It covers all of tuition with a 3.0 stipulation, and according to the website, I have to "continue to demonstrate financial need". I think I'll visit the school as soon as I can, see if I like it. I'm not crazy about the 36% legal employment rate, and I'd still have to borrow about twenty grand a year for living expenses, but it's easily the best offer I've got anywhere.

Have all of the scholarship offers already been sent out? I was accepted at the end of february, but haven't heard anything about merit scholarships... Just wondering if they're still being sent out.

I didn't get a dime from suffolk. I was expecting something hefty from them. Oh well.

Same... I was considering Suffolk but I was expecting to get money from them. I am very confused by their cycle... doesn't seem like they gave out a lot of $$ or at least not to people with higher numbers.CourCour wrote:I didn't get a dime from suffolk. How many times did you take the LSAT and how hard did you study? It'd be hard to take out debt from a school like that, esp. with cost of living.
Look at LST info: http://www.lstscorereports.com/?school=newyork

So, who will be attending in the fall? Anyone get their assignment for orientation via email?

I just took the June LSAT with hopes of attending Suffolk or BU in the Fall of 2014. Anyone else take the June LSAT? Any word yet? Thanks!
