Northeastern via status check followed by "decision rendered" e-mail for admit and then snail mail
Pittsburgh via status check (and then presumably snail mail?)

Not sure if you just want to do top 50 (which would be MUCH more reasonable) but figured I'd contribute that until I hear anything new before you do :P

As for ordering, either rank or alphabetical both makes sense. You're a flipping genius for doing this too, just thought you should be aware.

Sounds like at Washington and Lee - you get accepted via email.

I actually got a phone call from NE in addition to all the above. i am not sure if that is standard but they called me about 10 min after i saw the email (she said she tried to catch it before i saw but i am neurotic and checked the status checker before the email).

Yep, I got a phone call today (while I was doing graduation advising/trying not to freak out over unknown area code). Got a voicemail :)

Bumping with Chicago data:

Last year, the ED admits and first round of RD admits received phone calls (area code 773); later rounds received e-mails.

Waitlists and rejections were both e-mails.

Vanderbilt has sent out quite a few emails this week to notify of acceptances, though I do think the black box comes after.

I have not been accepted, but based on Northwestern thread, "status checker" is probably the most appropriate way to say it - you click on a link in the status checker, log in again & read a letter about the decision is how I understand it.

Villanova (waitlist): lengthy email with response requested to e-mail them back to stay on the WL if desired, also status checker says "application waitlisted".

Fordham also tells you if you got waitlisted by email too. (and status checker, but I got the email first)
