Re: Indiana-Bloomington Class of 2016
Did anyone else apply Early Decision? I'm pretty sure they sent my letter to my address down at school, and I'm at home now, so I'm a bit anxious. I keep checking the online form though, and today it was different. The information in the Requirements box is gone, and it now says "Picture." Thoughts?

Re: Indiana-Bloomington Class of 2016
I just checked and got "Decision Made" on 12/13 too! Also no word yet though. And my info is set up so that if I get anything through snail mail it'll go to my school address and I'm home for winter break until the first week in January! Such a bummer! Did anyone hear anything yet?crossingfingers wrote:I have a really hard time thinking that your numbers aren't an auto admit. Makes me feel like good news is coming for us who switched to decision made, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for now.michaelm55 wrote:"Decision Made". Is this good or bad, since I haven't recieved an email regarding the nature of the decision (1 day after the fact)?

158 & 3.96. I actually called this morning to ask what was up and they told me i was accepted!!! She said there was nothing under the mailing etc. because they were in the process of writing the acceptance letters.michaelm55 wrote:What are your numbers?
PS: She also said that she could not access any scholly info but if I were offered anything it would be in the acceptance letter. Good luck to everyone!!

Just got a "decision made" update to my status checker with today's date (12/31). Says a letter is coming via snail mail. Sounds like that's probably not good news, eh?

Re: Indiana-Bloomington Class of 2016
I need some advice,
I just graduate from my M.B.A program and i already have my final transcript, the G.P.A did not change whatsoever from the one I sent them with LSAC. If there was a change it was probably 1/100 of a point. I been UR and not news yet. Should i send them an updated compy of it specially since it already shows my degree posted? This is one of my top choices if i can get in.
Thanks

Re: Indiana-Bloomington Class of 2016
I received an acceptance letter in the mail last Monday while out of town. They offered 30k over three years, which I'm pretty happy with right off the bat considering my gpa. Maybe after the (fingers crossed) number of test takers continues to decrease after the Dec. test is released I'll be able to ask for a bit more money. I love this school, but I'm high on minimizing indebtedness.
They also enclosed a nice note from Dean Motley which was specific to my PS and showed that they kept track of me after I met Sam Kwak at an LSAC forum.
Numbers are 165 and <2.5 with strong softs, top undergraduate, and passable academic addendum (in my opinion?).
Good luck to those waiting and to the poster three above me, I'd be shocked if you're not in, they probably won't deny or waitlist for a while yet.

If you received a decision made message early in the cycle, it's 99% likely that you got in. IU tends to send their acceptances via mail rather than other means.

Got my letter. Acceptance and a $10,000 per year scholarship offer (contingent upon keeping out-of-state tuition status). Cost of attendance is still quite high though. Nice letter from the admissions director though. I'll give Bloomington a visit in a few weeks.
