I got the 32,000/year scholarship as well. My numbers were not spectacular though with a 163/3.9, so they must have liked my ps or prompt response. I think they really do look at the whole application, so don't worry if you have a "low" LSAT as they pick students that they feel are good fits for their school in totality. This is amazing as I wanted to go here, but was worried about the cost, so this really puts Pepperdine as one of my top choices!

Packet arrived today. 15k scholarship. I've got more than double that at Loyola, does anyone know if they will match, because both schools are similarly ranked and in the same city(ish)? Stats in my profile.

I received my acceptance packet today. They're offering a $26,000/year merit scholarship and an additional $7,000 for being a Church of Christ member.

I have been complete since 11/14 and in review since 01/10.. I think they're accepting students with stellar numbers first according to this thread

Yea that is a full-ride and it posted it online as well, but because of where I live, I got the acceptance packet really quickly (said I was accepted the 14th and got it the 15th).

That's a general trend for most law schools Pepp's ranking and higher.

Also in review on 1/18. Here is hoping for a quick turn around :). My numbers aren't stellar, and I don't think i would be willing to attend Pepperdine at sticker, but an acceptance would be nice.

I know how you feel. I've gotten one denial so far from a place I really didn't particularly plan on attending.

It's always nice to be wanted. :)

Neither are my numbers. Pepp is my top second choice, first being UCLA - but I know I really don't have a shot there.
I also applied for Loyola, UC Irvine, USD. But I'd choose Pepp for it's christianity, beautiful campus, and friendly environment(less cut-throat comeptetion). Any thoughts on this?

I've heard the environment you want (competitive, etc) is a really important thing to consider. My Dad went to University of Miami, and he said that kids would literally rip the case pages out of books in the library so no one else could get to them. Competition isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it depends on what you want.

Congratulations :) you are having a lot of success this cycle. Is this school above or behind temple in your choices?

Thanks! It's probably behind but I'll need to wait and see what happens. I love Temple but right now I haven't gotten into any school where I'm like, "Forget everyone else, I'm going here."

Congrats! I just got my acceptance packet in the mail today (took 6 days to get from Malibu to Philly) with 96k as long as I stay above a C GPA. I was on the fence about Pepoerdine but the money and the postcard (which helped because today is the first day in almost a week it's been above 30 degrees) have made me made me like it more.

my numbers are nearly identical to yours(164 3.2 AA Male). I sure hope I get that much money, it would make pepperdine become a serious consideration for me. Also good to know it took around 6 days. I am in Pitt, so I can expect around the same wait.
