I've seen Blue Man performances in SF and Las Vegas. Loved them.Crowing wrote:NU was my UG and one of the coolest things I ever saw in Chicago was the Blue Man Group performance at the Briar Street Theatre.

also, you're the best sales person that NU has.

And aww thanks <3
Scarlet - I actually am applying to that committee, LOL. Maybe I should just submit a link to my TLS posts instead of writing up the 2-4 sentence blurb.

Just scheduled my interview November 2. Does anyone know when we get our interviewer assigned? Any tips on dress and questions?

If this thread's OP doesn't have interview questions, find last year's applicants thread. It had a ton of info in the OP.

+1 to rinkrat's suggestion of a suit. Treat it like a job interview. You get your interviewer assigned when you arrive (Assuming you are doing an on-campus interview). Questions are listedJredelman15 wrote:Just scheduled my interview November 2. Does anyone know when we get our interviewer assigned? Any tips on dress and questions?
Protip: I c-ped the questions list onto a word doc last year and wrote out all of my answers to every question in paragraph format. Did I get asked everything? Nope! Did it help? HELL yeah. Especially for the harder questions where I would have stumbled/had to think if I hadn't prepped ahead of time. DO IT. You don't have to memorize them, but just the act of having thought through the questions and knowing what you'll say is incredibly helpful.
Also keep in mind, if you are a splitter or have a similar flaw in your app (ie lower LSAT/no WE), EXPECT TO BE ASKED ABOUT IT. They asked me directly, "I see that you have a very low GPA. Is there any reason for this?" PLAN FOR THIS. Come up with a compelling answer. Think of ways to turn it into a positive for you!!

Is this a meet-up for just current NU law students? Or also for those of us interested in and applying to NU?

Checking in. #1 choice by far. Born and raised in Chi, would love to stay. I spend A LOT of time in Old Town/River North/Gold Coast, so it's pretty much a second home to me anyways.
