did those who have already gotten the call get an email saying their application status was complete? I've only received an email that says:

Thank you for applying to UCLA School of Law. This email is to confirm receipt of your application... We will thus notify you again by email when your file has been completed.

Still haven't received complete status, submitted 9/14

I haven't gotten a call, but I did get an e-mail notification that my app was complete and that they'd be in touch when they'd made a decision. I applied on 9/27, got the "received" e-mail on 10/1, and got the "complete" e-mail the following day.

I did the same thing, but hey, at least you got it done.

You're right. Thanks for the positivity I guess it also works since the stuff I wanted to say in 4pgs is nice and concise now, so I can add more to the PS for other schools. The last 4-6 lines of text were what took the longest to push up, though.

Good luck everyone! I'm not a fan of driving, especially driving in LA, but I would love to be able to stay in California. Can't beat the weather or food.

No idea! I guess it depends. What are your numbers? If you're borderline i guess it will be in a couple of months but if you are a very strong applicant, maybe a couple of weeks!

It was pretty quick. I was washing out a water bottle when he called, so I was awkwardly trying not to drop my phone. He just congratulated me, let me know that stuff would be in the mail soon, etc.

UCLA will probably T-14 based on the stats. Cornell seems to be in decline, UCLA should pass them based on that.

UCLA can break into the T14 without being a T14, Cornell has been 15th before, UCLA and UT have both broken into the T14.

You are a T14 forever if you have been ranked in the top 10. Only/ALL schools in the T14 have been ranked in the top 10 before so just because a school snags a 13th or 14th spot does not make them "T14".

I got admitted by phone call today. I woke up and had a message on my answering machine saying to call back, and I did and was told I was admitted. I got the e-mail confirming that my application was complete on October 5th and hadn't heard anything else until now. I have a 177/3.4. In the phone call I was told that my actual acceptance letter and e-mail will be sent out next week and a scholarship offer sometime in November.
