Grr... just quickly filled out the Columbia app to see if I have a hidden fee waiver and I have nothing. What's the word on Columbia fee waivers?

I completed the application and I also have no fee waiver. I have a 173 Lsat and 4.0 GPA. I'm thinking that maybe they don't give fee waivers so early in the application process?bernaldiaz wrote:Grr... just quickly filled out the Columbia app to see if I have a hidden fee waiver and I have nothing. I have a 178 and 3.95, and was really banking on a fee waiver. My application is ready to go, and I'd like to get it out ASAP. Do you think it makes sense to wait a few days to see if I get a hidden waiver? Should I write to ask for one? Should I just apply and say screw the $85?EttaJ wrote:Just wanted to give the heads up...hidden CRS waivers have gone out. (I saw it this morning at checkout).

I would definitely wait if I had your LSAT/gpa. From what I understand, they only give merit fee waivers through the CRS search (they don't give out solicited fee waivers). The fee waivers may be rolling. In my opinion there is no real difference between applying today or a week from now.
