This sounds like you can stay on a waitlist because it is not an enrollment commitment. Right?
This all says should, not must. And Berkeley's statement is unfortunately very clear.
Acceptance of a scholarship offer requires simultaneous acceptance of our offer of admission and withdraw from all schools where you've been admitted. You need not withdraw from schools where you have not yet received a final decision (i.e., you remain on a wait or "hold" list). In practice, we find it the process works best if you simply communicate with us what your situation is and request (upfront) a deadline extension should you feel you need one. Extensions are not guaranteed, but we do want you to make as fully informed a decision about where to attend law school as possible. In the interest of fairness to all other scholarship candidates who may still be waiting for a decision or for more funds to become available, we ask that you respect this requirement.
That's from Berkeley's website.
EDIT: I realize this is about scholarships, but where it says that it requires simultaneous acceptance of our offer of admission... I'm assuming it is still relevant. You may very well have other materials that I don't.

Yeah, the admitted students page has you check a box as the terms for acceptance saying you will withdraw from waitlists.

Last year it looks like
May 20, and May 22 the year before.
Edit: first reported acceptance was May 20, first TLSer was June 15.

Just bumping to ask if anybody has heard anything yet...?
Sent in a LOCI last week with updated job info. I'm trying to hang on until August before signing a lease - even though I'll probably end up stuck in a crappy apartment at my #2 choice after eventually being rejected by Stanford...

Just from browsing past threads from past years, seems as if Stanford usually releases WL decisions slightly after Harvard first does. Not sure if this applies at all here....

Judging from its thread, it looks like there has been some movement from the Harvard waiting list.
If theories and past experiences prove correct, then Stanford should hopefully be getting their wl sorted soon...

Thought this would be of interest: Stanford is asking those that have deposited to re-confirm their intent to attend by July 6.

Veeeery interesting. I assumed with HLS starting the waitlist acceptance deluge last week, we might see some movement at SLS soon, but this might mean they don't start acceptances until after July 6. Or am I misunderstanding?

Isn't it possible that Stanford won't have much waitlist movement this year? It seems like both Harvard and Yale took far more than usual off the waitlist so far, so it's very possible that more applicants than usual enrolled at SLS.

I be wondering about how much DAT USNews Ranking change would switch things up.

Is that true? I checked LSN last night and it looked like Yale hadn't made any waitlist decisions yet, and Harvard only had a few acceptances so far
EDIT: Also, I worried that Stanford might over-enroll this year. Curse you, USNWR!

Harvard has over 20 confirmed waitlist acceptances on TLS alone and last I checked the Yale TLS thread there were 5-10 waitlist acceptances.
