I got off the waitlist at William and Mary last week and at Wake Forest today (with scholarship). Will be withdrawing from WFU, good luck to everyone else!

Is it customary to include information about a peer school's offer in a LOCI? E.g., I'd also like to let you know that I've been admitted to XYZ university with an XYZ scholarship. And while I'm grateful for their award, your school remains my top choice" or something like that?

Of course. There is the waitlist, the Preferred Waitlist, and the Special Group within the Preferred Waitlist. Totally normal.
