Got $20k via snail mail. Got more money from St. John's so I'm pretty sure I can cross NYLS off my list. Unless it's easier to keep a 3.20 at NYLS than it is to stay in the top 40% at St. John's.

For the most part. I didn't apply to NYL though, just dropping by.

I wonder how much the scholly is, if it is substantial I mightttttt pick NYLS over sticker St. Johns. I'll have to wait for it to arrive via snail mail. :|

I got more from St. John's than from NYLS and they pretty much have the same stipulations. I guess I could try and negotiate with that, but I'd rather go to St. John's anyway. I was shocked they didn't give me more in comparison to St. John's.

Good luck!

Thanks, I guess I was the opposite: sticker offer from St Johns and scholly offer from NYLS. :|

Hey Guys, Wondering how long it took you all to receive acceptances. I applied in November and I had one status change, in review since December 12th with pretty strong credentials. I also have been accepted to better schools with scholarships. What gives?

Did everyone do the optional video interview? Do you think this would increase the chance of scholarship?

I did not and I am still in review since December. I hope that's not what is holding me back.

I didn't do the video interview and received both acceptance and the "Nunez Scholarship" so I'm not sure how much weight they place on the interview. Maybe if you are a borderline candidate for NYLS.

Didn't do the interview or submit my personal statement (it wasn't done yet), and I got $25k, so I don't think you have to worry about it.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
