UB's takes a little longer.. they have their own version of a "status checker" which is through the school and they assign you an ID number. Good Luck!

I called them and they told me that I was in review and explained that they work on two different systems as was explained earlier. The good news is for anyone applying next year they plan on using the "ace" system that almost everyother law school seems to use. Now I just wait, still no staus tracker but I guess that just helps me from going crazy and continously checking UBalt along with the others.

Got my packet in the mail today. No mention of any scholarship at all. Has anybody else revieved offers, or have they not met on them yet?

Same, $25,000 a year here. High stips though.

Just got an email too.
10k/year, 3.25 GPA stip.
Even if I lose that scholarship, it would still be cheaper than a lot of other schools I'm looking at (some of them even with a scholarship).
Are any of you going to the preview day? I'm wondering if I should go...
I'd have to take a day off but it seems like it might be worth it.

I was hoping for a lot of money here, but it was not meant to be. 8k a year.

I'm sorry... at least it isn't a rejection, right?

I have a feeling that a good number of those who applied to UB will be enrolling elsewhere, so there's probably a decent chance of getting accepted off that waitlist.

I looked it up and the curve at UB is set at 2.86, meaning the 50th percentile GPA is a 2.86.
So I'm guessing that a 3.25 and higher is likely the top 25%. But that's pure speculation.

Slightly surprised I was waitlisted for the pt program, given that my numbers aren't dreadfully bad (by their standards) and my softs are very strong. I was admitted into the ft program of a school that's better than Baltimore; this, despite the fact that I mistakenly sent them a personal statement tailored for a completely different school. They were polite enough to send me an email informing me of the mistake, so they at least knew they were aware of the embarrassing mishap I made. The personal statement I sent Baltimore was perfect, tailored specifically for them and everything...

Hi, has anyone else gotten any scholarship info? I'm kind of surprised I wasn't offered anything. I was accepted January 9th and it seems like a few emails went out Feb 3rd.

I'm in the same boat as you with not receiving anything from them. I'm well above their lsat median with a 160 and my gpa is near their average.

anybody know if they give in-state tuition to out of state students for the first year, perhaps in the form of a waiver?

I'd just give it some time.
I was accepted the first week of December and just got my scholarship info a couple of days ago.
I know they don't release any of that info until February and since it's now crunch time, they're probably backlogged.

Just received scholarship information via e-mail - 15k/year maintaining 3.25gpa. Seems like everyone who gets money is in the same boat. They'll probably end up putting us all in the same section, too...
I received similar scholarships from better schools with zero stipulations. I guess UB is just stingy this year?

Has anyone accepted on their page? I'm considering but I'm not sure what hitting accept does.
