I did write a Why San Diego... I was stationed there, I love the area, I want to be in San Diego, etc... If they were going to YP me, I don't know why they would wait to do it and not just do it right away, rather than wait a until March.

It took me 10 days to get the Application Received notice.

It appears San Diego is doing some weird stuff... I've been at "Application Received" since 9/16 and no word since. I spoke with the admissions office a few weeks ago and they said you stay at "Application Received" until a decision is made on your file.

That's what happened to me. My status went from application received, to complete, to decision rendered all in the same day.

Mine was at "received" for a month or so and switched to decision rendered/letter mailed Thursday or Friday last week. I haven't gotten the letter yet though!

I know what you mean - I don't have a 177 but above median #'s for USD and I would attend with $$ - but I haven't heard anything for almost 2 months now

I don't think they're going to YP you but they might be waiting to see if you withdraw since you would have a shot at Stanford and probably $ at Cal

Can we hear from someone whose gotten a scholarship offer to USD?? Seems like no one has... although I'm sure this is wrong...

I got my acceptance letter for RD back at 11/4 and still have not heard anything about scholarships.

I didn't check it on Friday or Saturday, but now it says "Decision Rendered" and "Current Status Date: 12/1/11"

Seems like no one has heard anything about scholarships, maybe they are waiting to give that info out? in the acceptance packet it has a sheet to apply for scholarships?
