took about a week at the beginning of the cycle. no surprise if it takes longer now.

Status says "Decision Pending". Does anyone know if this means a decision will be coming soon, or if it's the equivalent of "In Committee" at other schools? Last year's LSN indicates that most decisions weren't made until mid-late January, but I heard they were trying to get them out quicker this year.

I received an email from SU that my app went complete 10/24, but never got a follow up email with information for the status checker.

Does anyone know if Seattle U does phone calls? Or is it all email/letters? I would really love a call by Christmas...

I'm not sure about phone calls, but everything I have heard or seen about seattle u has said to forget about your app til january.

I received a medium-sized/ somewhat thick envelope in the mail today from Seattle U. My heart started pounding as I slid my finger under the flap to open it...it was a financial-aid brochure from the school. That is just mean-spirited.

I think this means you are accepted. I could be wrong, but I think it is to prepare you for the sticker shock. I go back and forth with some current Seattle U. law students on this.

I am pretty sure you are accepted to Seattle U. 167 and 2.8? That should only add evidence to my theory that the packet means you are accepted.

I had to laugh at this. I wish this was the case, then I might have a chance to get in. Seattle U is a good law school. While the number of applicants is way down, Seattle U still ranks #3 in the Nation in legal writing.

The Happy Holidays email is code word for acceptance. If you look at time stamp 1:11 and look for your name. If you see it you were accepted.

Seattle U is a good law school, but I hope all you applicants realize that its ranking in legal writing should be completely ignored, as it is meaningless.
