I thought my numbers were close to auto-admit for UF. I'm dumbfounded. At least it's not a ding, but I'd like an answer!

FWIW wouldn't UF still take a late app with great stats over a 50/50?...I'm just approaching this as a numbers game.

Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
I know. I know loads of people who have numbers lower than that who have been accepted already. Lateness should be no big. Your numbers should be an in unless were you arrested or did you have anything crazy happen? Otherwise, I don't see how you haven't been admitted yet. I'm sure you will be though.Intraining wrote:haoledugan wrote:Please answer this question with "Very late... i just called the admissions office and inquired about the no decision rendered status. they told me that there are still many applicants that have not been rereviewed yet, but that a decision will be rendered in most cases, in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

what really sucks is that the other uf thread is actively discussing housing and football stats. what will be your alternative schools if dinged

I've got Miami and Tulane so far. Waiting on Bama, FSU, and UF. If I get into any of those three, I will go.drummerboy wrote:what really sucks is that the other uf thread is actively discussing housing and football stats. what will be your alternative schools if dinged

Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
I've been at no decision since 2/10 (applied on 1/27). Not that long of a wait but, I've heard from all of my other 8 schools. 2-3 weeks of uncertainty is sure going to suck.
So far it's looking like FSU or Ohio State, unless UF decides to make a move anytime soon. UM is out because I refuse to pay sticker.
I just really hate not having a solid plan for where I'm going. I have to think about finding housing and what not.
UF enjoys watching me suffer, i know it...

Hahaha. I hear ya. Glad you have instate/public school options. If I don't get in at one of my "big three", I'm looking at some massive private school debt. Please, God. Hahaha. Good luck to us all!Rivers711 wrote:I've been at no decision since 2/10 (applied on 1/27). We're having a similar cycle. I'm in at Tulane as well(but not worth the money, I think), but also at FSU. Waiting on UF and Bama to make a move. We might end up at the same placealicrimson wrote:I've got Miami and Tulane so far. Waiting on Bama, FSU, and UF. Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
Very similar to where I'm at now. I'm in at UM and waiting on bama and UF -didn't apply to FSU. If Gainesville sent me an acceptance, I'm pretty certain I'll go back to being a Gator.pinkcamellia wrote:We're having a similar cycle. Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
So if 3/3 were rejections and so was the previous batch, does it look like the next will be acceptances? Gah! I almost wish this prediction/knowing thing wasn't happening. Granted, I want an outcome but is anyone else slightly scared for their status to actually change? I mean, atleast now there's hope...where as, when that letter goes out its done.

Re: U. Of Florida "no decision"
Florida sent me a letter on Friday. I thought they were sending me a rejection and they just forgot to change my status. It ended up just being a letter asking for more proof that I'm a Florida resident. But yes, the whole prediction thing is killing me too.alicrimson wrote:So if 3/3 were rejections and so was the previous batch, does it look like the next will be acceptances? Gah! Wow, mini heart attack much? Well, I have a habit of looking into things and I'd say the proof request is a good sign though I can't say for sure. I haven't gotten one or heard of anyone who hasn't been accepted getting this. Ha. Hopefully we'll hear soon and we don't look into predicting or hopefully everyone who is in our "batch" has 163+ LSATs. haha.SixStrings11 wrote:Florida sent me a letter on Friday. Haha well here's to that! Drinks on me for everyone in our batch if we're accepted. (EDIT: If we're in the same batch, obviouslyalicrimson wrote:Wow, mini heart attack much?
