I got a phone call from the dean a couple of days ago. My status checker just now (as in the last day or two) changed to "decision rendered." When I got the phone call my status checker was still at "complete."MrMisiu wrote:Did your status say 'Admitted' or 'Decision Rendered'? And if the latter, did it say letter sent or it had nothing? Re: U. of Pacific 2011 Applicants
I just checked my status checker again out of curiosity. I was accepted almost two weeks ago and my status checker still says "Decision Rendered" today. At the top it says, "A letter has been sent to the present address indicated on your application." You will either get lucky and get a phone call (rare according to this thread) or you'll just have to wait for the letter (like I did). Good luck!MrMisiu wrote:Did your status say 'Admitted' or 'Decision Rendered'? And if the latter, did it say letter sent or it had nothing? I suppose you could always e-mail and ask (or call for that matter). You obviously don't want to sound pushy, but on the other hand, the decision has already been made.

So under the mailings section it didn't say 'decision letter sent' or anything like that at first?Flett wrote: I just checked my status checker again out of curiosity. Also, older cycles say that deposits appeared as soon as it went DR, was that the case for you or anyone who has gone DR?

Yes, I do have a "Decision Letter" and a date under mailings, showed up around the same time as the status went to "Decision Rendered" and the note at the top of the screen was added.MrMisiu wrote:So under the mailings section it didn't say 'decision letter sent' or anything like that at first?Flett wrote: I just checked my status checker again out of curiosity. Under deposits everything is still blank. No dates, no amounts, no anything except the titles of the columns.
"Date Due Amt. Due Amt. Paid Date Paid" <--- That's all.

Did everyone who is getting a Decision Rendered today go to "Under Review" first, or did they just go from Complete --> Decision Rendered? I've been sitting at Complete since 11/3...

I'm pretty sure mine went straight from complete to decision rendered...except that the date associated with the complete changed. first went complete on 11/7 i believe, then it updated to 11/23swilson215 wrote:Did everyone who is getting a Decision Rendered today go to "Under Review" first, or did they just go from Complete --> Decision Rendered? Yeah, and the midlaw Fresno firm I interviewed with had numerous young associates and partners from San Joaquin College of Law. Now they have their pick of Boalt students. The legal world has changed dramatically in the last 2 years.swilson215 wrote:
I work at a midlaw firm in Bakersfield currently, and we have, I believe, 7 McGeorge grads that are in their first 3-7 years with our firm. We hired one new associate (out of four hired) from McGeorge this year, and I believe their starting salary was around ~80K plus bar prep, moving, and benefits.
EDIT: I'm certainly not suggesting that McGeorge is a bad school or that you guys shouldn't attend (although many on TLS would make that argument). Just make it an informed decision and realize that you will most likely be looking at small firm and solo work. I don't have a problem with that kind of work and neither should you. My only advice is to get out of there with as little debt as possible.

I just got decision rendered too. I was accepted last cycle. I better have gotten accepted again. This school was my safety. If I got rejected, my cycle is going to go down the shitter.

I didn't get anything in the mail yet. Decision was rendered yesterday for me. Will they be mailing stuff out for people who got rejected as well?

Re: U. of Pacific 2011 Applicants
I am pretty sure we were all accepted. Rejections did not roll in till January according to LSN, but the pool size is small. If it says decision rendered, we cannot be on the waitlist, right?

My application status went complete on 11/22. Does anyone that is getting a decision rendered status today mind telling me when your applicaton status was complete? Just wondering if I'll be waiting until the beginning of January because I applied later, or if it is because they are still "considering" my app.
Thanks!

I wouldn't be worried with your numbers. And I don't think too many people with 175's would apply to McGeorge.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:Are you guys like 175 LSATs or somethin'? Why the heck is McGeorge cold-shouldering me like this? :X
