Just wanted to say congrats to everyone who got in, and good luck to those still waiting.

Also, this isn't a bookmark to see who from TLS is gonna be joining us as 1Ls next year :)

Also, friendly thoughts: Staff has been known to scan the boards, so vent frustrations and all, but be aware that this isn't so private ;) (I'm a 1L, not staff, but was surprised to find a few people knew my TLS handle when I showed up.)

So, with the new site redesign, has anyone found the status checker?

Also, still in review since 12/13. Ugh, come on.

Nope. In review since 12/13. I'd like to think I'm that amazing and they just want to keep rereading my PS, but seriously. Come on.

I thought we might hear something today since it's Friday, but looks like it'll be another week at least.

Received my decision email on Friday... Will they be having any more ASDs aside from the one that they just had this month? I am seriously considering UNLV and would really love to see the campus.

stats? when'd you apply?
Non-URM international student with a science grad degree
159 LSAT
UGPA was a B on an "Above Average" program of study (ratings c/o the LSAC foreign GPA conversion service); I think a B equals a 3.0-3.33 on the US GPA scale
Went complete on 11/8, went in review in either 12/20 or 1/20, then received decision email on 2/25

For people who have received their admission email, does it say on your letters if you also received any scholarship money? My email just said that I will be receiving Financial Aid info. Also would appreciate if anybody can share some info about upcoming ASDs :) Thanks!

My scholarship info was in the letter/packet I received shortly after getting the e-mail. :)

Nice. I guess I just have to wait for my packet as well. Did you go to the ASD? Did your packet say anything about ASDs in March?

Nope, and nope. It was only a 2 hour thing, I didn't think it was worth the trip for only 2 hours. :?

Only 2 hours for an ASD? Seems uncharacteristically short.

So I received my packet in the mail and found no scholly award, unfortunately... also found that the next ASD will be on April 2nd, the day after the seat deposit is due.

Short: If it's financially feasible, you can come see the school outside of an official ASD. If you ask Nathan nicely, he'll probably arrange for you to sit in a class if you like.

Generally: Last I heard, acceptances should start in full force here in a week or two. Roughly mid-March I suspect a lot of folks will hear. That's how it worked out last year, anyway.

We don't put on lavish ASD's (I remember being jealous of my friends who were accepted to other schools getting flown out and such) but, to put a silver lining on it, the part of your tuition that would have gone to wooing new candidates will be going to pay faculty or for events instead.

Congrats to the new acceptances, and good luck to those still waiting to hear!
