Re: Villanova 2011
Villanova has made only one release so far this year and judging by last years numbers they need to do at least three before Christmas to keep pace with decisions.
Schools tend to gather apps up into a group on a Friday, review them and release on the following Friday, but obviously this doesnt always happen. However, last year Villanova had a big round of decisions go out on Dec. 11 (which was a Friday), so I feel confident it will be tomorrow. But this could be off a day or two because there was a Holy Day yesterday and they were probably closed.

Yes, with COL Villanova is going to have to really bring the coin.

I come from a very rural and inexpensive state. My views of high COL might be a bit skewed.

Second that, my COL isn't much higher than my undergrad which was in a medium sized ruralish town. And if you have problems there are out lying towns or the city you can commute from.beach_terror wrote:COL in Villanova isn't that high.iWayneState wrote:lawgrl21 wrote:yikes. its also a pain that they don't give out scholarship $ for a few months.iWayneState wrote:On this train as well. Just got an email from them that my file would be incomplete until I sent them "more information" about my alcohol violation. I sent an addendum, I don't know exactly how much detail they want me to go in to, but I emailed them back with the whole story. The way the email was worded, I was freaking out that I had forgotten to attach my addendum. But I definitely did, I doubled checked what was submitted on LSAC.
This makes me really nervous. They're the only school who's asked for more information like this.

If you're not sure what they want give the admin office a call, they're usually very helpful.kjadkins wrote:Just got an email from them that my file would be incomplete until I sent them "more information" about my alcohol violation. Yes, this year Villanova Law School is reporting that 23% of students are students of color for the class of 2013.

Been in review since 11/30 and it seems like last year they started to release decisions at the end of November so I guess they are running a bit late this year... hopefully they relsease some decisions soon

I was UR since 11/30. The msg on the top said 30 days until decision originally then changed to 60 days yesterday. I don't know if that means people who are still UR will have to wait longer now or not but 2 weeks was a relatively okay turnaround.jetergrl2ss wrote:Did you go under review? Seriously? What are you waiting for?
