same here! this EA is interesting:

Submit the application form and fee by November 1.
Make sure that your file is complete by November 15.
We will mail out our decisions by mid to late December.

what if I just don't go complete before Nov 15th????

Yeah, I'm complete now.

I would think cornell would do the best they can to complete files of anyone that applied before November 1st by the 15th so they can be considered EA.

I'm applying to Cornell. A top choice, but with a 164, it's doubtful I'll get in. But it doesn't hurt to try, right? Good luck to you guys!

My app was officially processing for 30 days. Last cycle, after applying in Feb, it was processing for maybe 60 or more days => waitlist

Where is Cornell on everyone's list? I'm pretty excited about it, Ithaca looks nice.

Ithaca does look pretty nice, and I was shocked to see that the rent wasn't too ungodly New York-like.

Cornell for me is right behind UCLA, Berk, Stanford, UVA and Northwestern.

Pretty sure my app was processing for close to two months last year

It's really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I really didn't want to come here and now I absolutely love it. It's a super close knit community where everyone knows and supports everyone. Pretty great imo.

I haven't been to visit yet, but I've heard it's a great small town. I live in NYC now and I love it, but I love upstate NY and am excited to experience life in a less ridiculous setting. It sounds like a nice place to spend three years when you're supposed to be studying anyway. Plus when it's nice out there's hiking and stuff, and the other 80 percent of the year there's skiing.

Cornell isn't a reach for me, but it is near the top of my list anyway because of the small town environment and the fact that it's East Coast (I'm not that hopeful about most of my other East Coast applications).

You're certainly not an autoadmit, but you're right at their LSAT median and slightly above their GPA median. Unless you didn't take the application seriously or have god-awful softs, I would think you're most likely in.

I on the other hand, in all my reverse-splitter glory, am curious to see how my EA app turns out. I'd give myself a coin-flip, but maybe that's too optimistic

Just got my status checker link. It's showing my app as received 11/2 even though I sent it off yesterday, but I hope that just means that they didn't put it into their system until today (it was sent at night).

Their median rose to a 168. Their 75th still stayed the same at a 168 though...along with their 25th remaining steady at a 166.

Weird huh?

Their GPA median did rise though from a 3.63 to a 3.7.

Edit: Also it's weird how their median GPA rose but their 75th percentile GPA fell.
