For all those who've asked...
Resident.
LSAT: 175
GPA: 3.55
They also mentioned that a letter would follow shortly. Not sure if they call everyone, but if not - your letter could also be on the way!

IIRC, last year the first round of acceptances went to people who received Deans scholarships.. could be completely wrong on that though.

Do you know when folks heard about those scholarships? I was really hoping for some $$$ from UVA.

Out-of-state, non-URM, non-ED = WL. That said it's easier to get off the WL than many other schools.jt1341 wrote:3.5 177 you got waitlsted at UVA? would this be YP? because you should be in.... easilyEntchen wrote:Dammit why did I not move across the border into VA? Yea, he should be in, with money. Fixable. Write a letter of interest later. See how much $$ they throw your way

Re: UVa. Regular Decision
As with all school admissions advice on the forum, it's assuming that schools keep up the procedures they've been using for the past few years. Considering UVA is still handing out fee waivers like candy, they're probably doing the same WL practice as well.dontknow wrote:Was anyone actually WLed or are we still speaking in hypotheticals?arism87 wrote:Yea, he should be in, with money. Yeah I wasn't sure. Even if it is for YP, it'd be super annoying to be on the WL this early!jt1341 wrote:Maybe he is saying he believes he will be waitlisted

Don't be silly-- barring a gender specific username, all applicants are male.Entchen wrote:Sorry, I meant I expect to be WLed.
