Sorry for the rookie question:

Do you just give the form B to the Dean at your UG and hope for the best? He mails it in? I can supply an envelope, but is that basically it?

I went to my Dean of Students, which is actually in the Student Affairs office. Gave her the form, she filled it out and mailed it in their official envelope. You are supposed to sign it and give it to them. If the form doesn't show up in your requirement lists after a while, email Stanford first, then check with your school.

I left my phone #/email with the form at my school and they emailed me after it was mailed. HTH

Wow were they fast... I literally got an email back from them in 30 minutes apologizing for having missed it and now I'm listed as submitted for review. If anyone else is having the same deal where you can't figure out how they possibly don't have one of your items, I highly recommend just sending the email because they probably do have it (assuming it's not your Form B and is just something from your LSAC application package).

Actually, I had the same circumstance with my Form B. I saw my school had sent it off and it had been several days. As soon as I emailed them, they sent me an email back and updated my status accordingly.

I sent them an email inquiring about LORs and they wrote me back. I'm now sent for review.

At my undergrad the pre-law adviser handles Form B. You could always check with that person anyway because they would know who to give it to.

My god, Stanford. Show some respect for yourself and build a respectable law school building.

I believe they are building a new one right now, and it should be finished in time for the next school year.

I feel obliged to qualify this. Yes, the school is erecting a new (beautiful) building, but it will be used mainly for clinics. The old law building will remain for classes and administrative stuff.

Also, the heinous exterior of the main building doesn't do the fabulous interior justice.

I visited at the end of the summer; the building is small, but I was especially impressed with the classroom facilities. It's pretty legit. Can't wait to submit. I'll join this thread officially in two weeks or so.

Dean Deal's touring so I wonder when the first batch of acceptances go out?
