Apparently one person on this board has gotten an acceptance e-mail. I don't exactly know where else to check for acceptance data. It's Friday night, go have a drink and forget about it all until Monday

Wish I could!!! Stuck on a ship in the middle of the Pacific at the moment. We're busy keeping the world safe from illegal fishing practices. LOL. Pulling back into port soon though. Guess you'll just have to have an extra one to make up for my absence

The Coast Guard has satellite internet on its cutters. It can be slow as balls but it's better than nothing. If I couldn't check TLS and my status checkers or get e-mails about my applications I would be pulling my hair out. Actually now that I think about it I might be a lot less stressed since I would be forced to put it out of my mind. Enjoy your vacation, this will probably be the last easy year for a while...

Does anyone know/remember how long after you submit your application and went LSAC completed it was before you received an email from Iowa saying your application was received and providing a status checker?

The average is 10-12 days.

12/21: Iowa reports my app has been received and I got my Hawk ID link
1/14: Acceptance email

Through some freak accident, my letter arrived a couple days before the email.

OH...haha...OK because this one didn't make a ton of sense. In the status area is just says "in progress" and it is rather difficult to understand how to navigate.

Ah, sorry to hear that. Now might be a good time to prepare a letter of continued interest. I know they accepted several people off the waitlist last year. In fact, one of my classmates was prepared to attend a T3 before she got admitted in the summer.

Do you know if htere is a difference between regular and preliminary waitlist from the past cycles?
