Speaking of 3.5x splitters, I'm a 3.5x looking at 175-178 on the October administration. Couple shots in the dark (HLS, Columbia) + NYU, probably UVA, Mich, and down to Georgetown (prefer big city + interested in public policy).

Another splitter. 3.2 GPA and praying hard for that 170+ on the Oct LSAT.

Right now I've got Florida State U as my back up. =(

Feels nice seeing I'm not the only splitter.

If I make people feel nice does that give me LSAT karma points? YES IT DOES.

Go splitters 2010-2011! Keep doing what you do.

Well actually don't. Do the opposite of what you.

ED is a key weapon in the splitter arsenal.

Indeed. I just hope my ED to NU isn't wasted. They don't allow any other ED, even if they reject you.

Does applying ED really give a splitter that much of a boost?

Also, is it wise for someone to graduate a semester late in order to boost his/her GPA? (let's say .09 difference)

Yeah you guys are freaking me out... Does ED really help that much? Should I really ED anywhere if I'm not entirely sure that it's my first choice?

I might ED somewhere depending on my score tomorrow. If its below a certain level it really wont help me though.

Someone make a fake Magic/Star Wars/ Pokemon card called ED lol. Instant +.1 GPA/+1 lsat That would be funny.

I think the benefit of ED really depends on the school.

Certain schools for which ED is extremely beneficial for splitters:
UVA
NU (especially if you're <3.0)

I'm EDing at Michigan. Not sure how much of a boost that gives splitters because there's one person on LSN with similar numbers to mine who applied ED :/
I had to try though, I LOVE Michigan

Good luck, everyone :)

You're a reverse splitter.
