Thanks for the update!

I wonder how far down the pile I am. Some of you submitted first week of Sept right?

Yeah, like most of you guys, I was under the impression Berkeley didn't start reviewing applications until at least late October, so I was pretty surprised to get the email/ go under review this soon. I'm hoping since my numbers are just below Berkeley's 75ths that this is a good sign :D

True...in general it's bad, and Berkeley is a great school and I wish everyone applying the best. I did hear anecdotely that Berkeley has not preformed as strong as some of the other T14 schools on the list. So, just wondering if that is something your nervous about in general or are you going into it not really worried.

Same could be said about any other law school because the job situation is not schools' fault. Personally I am not too concerned because I can always get a job easily. For someone straight through, it may be a concern, but it's not like they can just go get a job right now anyway.

i'm slightly worried.
berkeley is one of my top choices but after hearing how cali and its cities are not doing so well (the legal market), i'm wondering if i should just suck it up and go to a school in nyc or something :?
but really, i should worry about this AFTER acceptances/rejections/waitlists are in

Do people think a 176 could outweigh a below 25% GPA (3.61) at Berk?

Seeing that at least someone is under review means I have to keep frantically checking my status at Berkeley, when I thought I could relax since I was complete and they don't start reviewing until late October. Argh.

Sorry   I, personally, was thrilled I saw I was under review.... but then, l realized I probably won't hear for weeks anyway, so... yeah... buzz kill... That won't stop me from incessantly checking my status checkers though!
