Yeah I've been complete for 3 weeks or so but my status still updates every few days.

I noticed that yesterday and then today it changed again...i freaked out a little. i guess it's normal. just happy to finally see a status checker with some activity...even there's nothing really going on haha

Yeah, the status checker updates every week day...it actually kinda bums me out because there isn't any way to tell if there's been REAL activity on your application or if the checker is just updating automatically :/ Doesn't keep me from looking though...

Man, I think there's something wrong with my application

I emailed them today.
Should have been complete a long time ago.
Submitted 09/07 (long before I SHOULD have, because I've edited quite a lot since then)

So according to LSN, last year first wave of decisions were made around this time decision letters dated 11/6(First friday in November) and statuses changed 11/7-11/10

Ahhh don't freak me out like that

FYI for people who applied in October, most seemed to hear back for an acceptance from Nov. 11th on (and a lot in Dec too).

Just submitted my application. I'm not sure what the odds of getting accepted are for me, but I would be thrilled to get in. Hoping for the best.

i just sent my app in last thursday (10/4).

did anyone else receive a little hand written note at the bottom of the letter that accompanies the viewbook? i don't know how much to read into this.

Consensus on the forums is that most if not all people who receive the viewbook/waiver package get a handwritten note. "Love X University graduates!" "Love X Majors!" And so on.

I haven't been checking my status checker on Michigan regularly, but my status checker changed to 11/08 today. It's not even 8am there - do they just change automatically each day?

Yes, it does so everyday except Sunday.

Every once in awhile, I am super glad to be a teacher so that my kids distract me from my life for about 14 hours a day. Today is one of those days.
