Just got ANOTHER email from Candy (I hadn't heard from her in a while), letting me know she could STILL offer me my scholarship money.

I felt bad, so I replied with a nice email (in line with a withdrawal, although I in no way ever applied or expressed interest in applying this instutition).

I informed her over a month ago that I'd already chosen my school. She ceased with the constant messages.

This has to be automated. I got one too. She wrote "scholarship offer" in the subject line, then the message says "you may qualify for $0 of scholarship money."

Goodbye new job this is too good to refuse!!

This thread is epic. I got two e-mails from her that I ignored as I assumed that the e-mails were automated and that even if they weren't automated she would figure out from my lack of response that I wasn't interested. When I got the third, I realized that the e-mails were not standardized and that she in fact referenced the previous e-mails to which I had not replied. I replied and she kindly ceased sending me e-mails.

I was offered $20k, but only if I responded quickly before she drops it to $18k. Also, it'd be a shame if something happened to my kneecaps.

I'm starting to feel the pressure from her many emails, especially the last one that advised me to 'watch my back' if I didn't respond soon.

I might start a poll for this, but what do you guys think: Cornell with no money, WUSTL w/75k scholly, UIUC with full ride, Vandy w/60k, or Phoenix with 15k? Tough choice to make...
